Rose: Golden Wedding
Finding gifts for your friends and family can be really difficult if they are the sort of people who have everything already or you’re just not sure what kind of things they really like.
Today is my sister and brother-in-law’s silver wedding anniversary and as a family we had clubbed together to buy a gift but I wanted a small token to give extra, just from me. It didn’t want it to be too expensive so that ruled out the usual ‘silver’ things, but I wanted it to reflect the fact that it was their silver wedding anniversary and for it to be a lasting gift. I settled on a rose like the one shown, as a plant for their patio. The one I bought was called ‘Silver Anniversary’ which was perfect and was much appreciated.
The rose above is called ‘Golden Wedding’, but you can also choose Ruby, Diamond or Silver and I for one think they make a lovely gift for couples celebrating special anniversaries. Of course there are plenty of other named roses for other occasions.
